The library refurbishment project involved the removal of the existing mezzanine floor extending the existing library building on three sides and incorporating a feature entry way. The building is constructed of reinforced concrete foundations and floor slab on grade with a mainly timber framed structure. The roofing is a combination of coloursteel longrun and torched on membrane over plywood. The external cladding is brick veneer to match existing. The interior features include extensive security, air conditioning and data services.
