This gracious country home is clad in New Zealand schist with cedar soffits and aluminium joinery. The driveway welcomes you to a porte-cochère thoughtfully covering the entrance. The front door opens to reveal a two storey entry where light flows in from the upper windows. A curved rimu staircase and curved balustrade provide a stunning feature within the home. Tiled balconies off the upstairs rooms allow the rooms to be open to the expansive landscape. Downstairs, wide cedar soffits over paved area provide protected cover for the outside living areas. Glazed sections of soffit allow light and warmth to filter through the covered areas. This home, designed specifically for the owners, is a timeless country retreat.
